Early shows at the Bluebird usually feature the best up and coming songwriters (and the occasional hit writer). They may not have a lot of hits yet, but you will see a great show.

Scott Southworth: Originally hailing from the great Pacific Northwest, Scott is an award winning Nashville based performing singer/songwriter, a 3 time Top 30 charting recording artist in Europe and the creator/co-host of Radio/TV's "The Music Row Show". As a writer, Scott has had over 70 Independent Cuts and was recently named Country Music People Magazine's "Indie Songwriter of the Year for 2018". Singles from his most recent two CD's; "The Last Honky Tonk In Town" and "Hey Hillbilly Singer" have seen chart success across Europe and radio play across the USA as well. He is a 3 time AWA nominee for Male Vocalist of the Year and Pure Country Album of the Year. March of 2019 Scott was awarded the "Pure Country Album of the Year" by the Academy of Western Artists and the "Horizon Award for Country Album" by the NACMAI (North American Country Music Association International).. Scott is proud to be an endorsed Larrivee Guitar artist and an endorsed Schertler Pickups artist.

He performs regularly in Nashville at the Bluebird Cafe, Douglas Corner and the Commodore Grille as well as house concerts and many songwriting festivals around the country and overseas. Scott has been a featured performer on RFD TV's nationally televised "Market Day Report", the nationally syndicated "Chico & B-Man" Television Show and has been a featured artist on WSM Radio's "Coffee, Country & Cody", "Nashville Today w/Devon O Day", "The Allnighter" with Marcia Campbell, "Ernest Tubb's Midnight Jamboree", Knoxville's "The Writers Block", several performances on WDVX's "Blue Plate Special" and "Tennessee Shines" as well as many other local TV and Radio programs across the US.

Scott has written and co-written more than 70 Indy cuts with artists such as: Marc Alan Barnette, Emma Jacobs, Stephanie Layne, Jamie Nattier, Bob Karwin, Becky Blackaby, Tom Templeman, Heino Moeller, The Ranch Rockers and Canadian Artist Damian Follett as well as Independent films. His first major label cut was part of Amanda Cook's "Deep Water", her first major Bluegrass release with Mountain Fever Records.
He has released 5 solo songwriting projects. "The Last Honky Tonk In Town" dropped August of 2016 to rave reviews across Europe and the UK! Country Music People Magazine named him their September 2016 "Honky Tonker Of The Month" and his songs "Whiskey Bottle" and "Whiskey In Heaven" were tied for the #1 spot on the UK's "Kicking Cuts Chart" as compiled by CMP in September 2016! In late October, his first official single "Whiskey Bottle" was released to European radio and in November debuted at #27 on the Irish Country Music charts, made it up to #3 on the SwissTex charts as well as being picked up by several BBC UK presenters.

Scott kept the ball rolling, releasing a new full length CD of all new, original Traditional Country Music in May of 2018. "Hey Hillbilly Singer!" Has already received rave reviews and seen European radio chart success including CMP Magazine's May "Honky Tonker of the Month" and topping their 'Kickin' Cuts Chart! gives the CD 8/10 and says "If you don't like Scott Southworth, you don't like Country Music!" and Robert K Oermann of calls the title track "... a bawling, honky-Tonk, beer drinkin' blazer. It doesn't get more in-your-face Country than this."
Marc-Alan Barnette: Marc-Alan Barnette is a Birmingham born artist / writer / teacher, based in Nashville, Tennessee. He calls his music "In your face country soul" and has songs recorded by such great artists as Shelby Lynne, John Berry and David Ball.

In addition to being a consummate entertainer and songwriter, Barnette provides songwriting and performance lessons for people all over the world. His lessons not only save valuable time and money...they are FUN!! Services include introductions to Nashville, song / performance critiques, songwriting, song demos - all tailored to you or your group.

Jeff Hudson: Born and raised about an hour north east of Nashville, Jeffery Hudson has been singing and performing since he was 3 years old.  His mother raised him on Elvis and Dolly.  Some of his first memories are singing in church.  Later growing up the Eagles and Alabama became his favorites.  Jeffery started writing songs in 1987 when in college.  After graduating and settling down in his home town of Lafayette, TN he married and started a family.  Jeffery has had songs recored by some local bands.  He’s also had songs signed by the Macamy’s gospel group and songs signed with Acuff Rose Publishing.  He plays various songwriting festivals and songwriter nights around Nashville. He continues to write and is a regular at the Bluebird Café.  He’s still looking for that big cut…so he can quite his day job. 
Aaron Barker: A Native Texan, Aaron Barker has had #1’s in the last three decades. His first “Baby Blue” recorded by George Strait. “Love Without End, Amen” remained on the charts for 5 weeks & rated the #1 song of his career by Billboard Magazine. “Easy Come, Easy Go,” “I’d Like To have That One Back,”“I Know She Still Loves Me” & “I Can Still Make Cheyenne” also hit the #1 position.

Aaron’s talent for capturing heartfelt music doesn’t just lie with Strait. Doug Supernaws “Not Enough Hours In The Night.” Clay Walkers “Watch This”, and “You’re Beginning To Get To Me.” Neal McCoy’s “Love Happens Like That,” Aaron Tippin’s “I’m Leavin,” Lonestar’s “What About Now” added to his list of #1’s. Most currently, Tyler Farr’s title cut “Suffer In Peace.” Other cuts include Willie Nelson, Trace Adkins, Tracy Lawrence, Duck Dynasty and more.

Not a recording artist himself, Aaron's voice is heard by millions as the writer & singer of radio & TV commercials for Blue Bell Ice Cream. "Blue Bell Country Day,” “Good Ol’ Days,” and "There's More Than Just Ice Cream." Aaron is a member of the "Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame " & currently resides in Tennessee.
