SZLACHETKA: The sophomore album from Rolling Stone “Artist to Watch,” SZLACHETKA (pronounced SLA-HET-KA) is set to release February 16, 2018.  With its mix of modern Americana, 70s California rock, and singer/songwriter sentiments, Heart of My Hometown is a classic record for the contemporary world.
Singer/songwriter Matthew Szlachetka co-wrote the 11 songs for his record while on the road—finding breaks during a busy two-year period that saw him playing roughly 400 shows. Traveling alone, he kept an eye on the world unrolling outside his car window. The sights, sounds, and stories he encountered along the way eventually found their way into his own music, resulting in a hook-filled, guitar-driven record about highways, homes, and the people who fill both.

Years before he teamed up with Grammy-winning producer David Bianco (Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Lucinda Williams) for the Heart of My Hometown sessions, Szlachetka was the frontman of acclaimed LA-based roots-rock band the Northstar Session. With the band, he recorded five albums and appeared in NBC’s TV series Parenthood.  He began his solo career in 2014 releasing Waits for a Storm to Find

Three years later, Heart of My Hometown shines new light on Szlachetka as a singer, prolific songwriter, storyteller, and fiery lead guitarist. It's an album whose touchstones include the charged roots-rock of Tom Petty and the warm, acoustic sounds of Jackson Browne. Szlachetka moves between both ends of that spectrum with ease, splitting his time between full-band anthems — including the riff-heavy "Until That Echo," co-written with Train's Scott Underwood — and more intimate, acoustic moments like "Wildflowers on the Highway," featuring an appearance by duet partner Katelyn Clampett. The album's title track rests somewhere in the middle, layering pop hooks and three-part harmonies into a nostalgic song about remembering one's roots. It's an album built for road trips, slow dances, wild Friday nights, and everything in between.
Rolling Stone hailed Szlachetka as one of the 10 New Artists You Need to Know, describing his forthcoming album as "a soundtrack for both the highway and the heartland...a collection of road-dog roots-rockers and Americana ballads inspired by the people (and places) he's left behind in the rearview mirror."

Now based in Nashville, Szlachetka continues to tour nationally with a schedule that's seen him open for Brandy Clark, the Byrds' Chris Hillman, the Heartbreakers' Mike Campbell, Brandi Carlile and more.
Cross Atlantic:
Meeting other songwriters in small Nashville coffee shops is not unusual, but a Missouri native finding herself in line behind an Englishman trying desperately to order a cup of tea, is not your everyday scene. When it turned out that both were aspiring musicians, it seemed only natural that they should arrange to sit down and write some songs together.

The girl in question, Karli Chayne, caught the ear of a well-known Nashville star which had led her to make the move to Music City. Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, in a London pub, a spur of the moment conversation led James Sinclair Stott to fulfill a lifelong dream and he packed his bag for Nashville.
After a chance meeting, James and Karli would discover that they had a sound that is both fresh and exciting. Mixing his somewhat eclectic upbringing on a diet of classic English rock and film soundtracks and Karli's country roots created a sound like no other which is sure to catch the ear of music lovers on both sides of the Atlantic.

Last summer, Cross Atlantic released their debut single and music video for “Mercy” with an exclusive premiere on CMT Music. The video debuted at No. 1 on CMT Music 12 Pack Countdown and remained in the Top 10 for ten weeks.
Brent Loper:
Some music artists will tell you that they chose music at an early age. However, this was
not the case for Brent Loper. "I didn't choose music, but rather it was a gift that I was
chosen for it to be given to; and subsequently it chose me" Brent says. This gift of music
has literally taken Brent all over the world, touching the hearts and lives of all who hear
his passionate voice and heart felt lyrics.

Brent is an accomplished songwriter who has written a myriad of compilations. He has
also toured as a professional musician with many regional and national acts, including
famed country music duo Joey + Rory. In addition to his musical abilities, Brent is an
actor that has appeared on commercials, television shows, and major motion films. But
the heart and essence of who Brent really is, is that of an artist. "My goal as an artist is
to be an effective communicator through lyric and melody. I know I've done my job
when someone comes to me and says 'Thank you for that song. I've been there or I've
felt or seen that in my own personal life'. I want the listener to walk away from my show
having been motivated, inspired, and having had a true musical experience".

When you see and hear Brent, you will see a real, raw, authentic, passion for this gift of
music that he has been entrusted with.
