Early shows at the Bluebird usually feature the best up and coming songwriters (and the occasional hit writer). They may not have a lot of hits yet, but you will see a great show.

There are 20 tables and 10 bar seats available for reservation. Pew Seats for these shows are not reserved in advance. These seats are available on a first come/ first served basis when doors open..

Pete Sallis: A staff writer for Razor & Tie and Victoria Shaw, Pete Sallis' songwriting inspiration comes from many sources. "A table of women talking at a restaurant, a book at a used bookstore or a subtle line in a new movie." He has turned these muses into cuts by Platinum selling American Idol winnert Phillip Phillips, Ronnie Dunn ,Bo Bice, Bucky Covington, The Roys and many others. Pete's approach to songwriting can be summed up by his own words. "Do what moves you - and you'll move somebody else."
Drew Smith: - Born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, between Nashville and Muscle Shoals, AL. 
- Influences include: Steve Earle, John Prine, Don Williams, Merle Haggard, Foster & Lloyd, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jackson Browne.
- First Concert: Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
- Previous Jobs: Restaurant dishwasher, radio station on-air personality, construction, emergency medical services.
- Has toured/opened for: Merle Haggard, Don Williams, Big & Rich, Lee Brice and others.
- Cuts: writer of "The Singer" which was cut by both Randy Houser & Merle Haggard.
John Milstead: His music mixes soul and country elements. He has toured over 30 shows solo with Sister Hazel, opened solo for BB King, and sang on NBC's Today Show. Collaborating with several established writers, he is currently in Nashville TN writing and recording his new project, "Loveproof". "John is a powerhouse of precision vocals", David Kershenbaum, (produced Bryan Adams, Tracy Chapman) "Incredible melodic instinct-one of the strongest singers I've seen in a long time. True Artist." Robert Johnson ( writer/producer-Celine Dion, Lynyrd Skynrd) John Milstead is an artist you should not miss hearing live. From a sound that mixes pop,rock,and soul- and a live vocal that is unbelievable. What else would you expect from a guy who grew up down the street from where Elvis was born and raised- Tupelo, Ms. John is currently working on his new record which releases end of summer 2013. His first demo "Sides of the Soul" is now available on Pandora- All of the album was written, produced, and performed by Milstead.
